โš  Security impact
  • Components built from source with older Go versions should be rebuilt using a supported Go version to receive the latest security updates and bug fixes.
  • OpenSSL 3.5 is now supported, enabling deployments to use the newer OpenSSL release branch.

What's new

Zabbix 7.4.13 is a maintenance and feature update for the Zabbix 7.4 release branch, introducing additional platform support, monitoring improvements, updated templates, and numerous reliability fixes.

  • Added support for TimescaleDB 2.28.
  • Added support for OpenSSL 3.5.
  • Updated the SELinux policy packaging for AlmaLinux 10, CentOS Stream 10, RHEL 10, Rocky Linux 10, and Oracle Linux 10.
  • Updated Veeam Backup & Replication by HTTP and Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager by HTTP templates with new monitoring capabilities and support for Veeam Backup & Replication v13.
Fixes and improvements
  • Fixed a potential VMware collector crash caused by network connectivity issues to vCenter.
  • Resolved system.run failures and related race conditions in the Zabbix Agent.
  • Fixed average trend calculations that could produce infinite values when processing extreme floating-point input.
  • Improved and corrected several built-in monitoring templates, including GCP and Microsoft SQL Server templates.
  • Includes additional stability and reliability fixes across Zabbix components.
Upgrade considerations
  • Enterprise Linux 10 systems use the new zabbix-selinux-policy-main package for the Zabbix SELinux policy.
  • Existing zabbix-selinux-policy installations do not require manual changes; the required policy package is handled during package upgrades.
  • Review custom JavaScript preprocessing because built-in JavaScript object methods are now read-only.
  • Components built from source with Go versions older than 1.24.10 should be rebuilt using a supported Go version to receive current security updates and fixes.
  • Test monitoring templates and custom integrations before deploying the update broadly in production environments.
